Upgrading Membership 0

A few months ago I purchased the Premium membership since that seemed like the best deal for me personally.  Since then, I've had several friends who want to submit cards with me which makes me rethink my decision and want to upgrade to the Elite membership.  I like the idea of the 10% discount and with two order currently submitted and not graded yet, I could save quite a bit with that discount.

Question:  when I went to update, they website wants to charge me the full amount $278 for the membership.  I already paid the $149 for the Premium membership.  Why would I have to pay an additional $278?  Anyone know a way around this?  Is it possible to upgrade the membership?
