CSG typically enters submissions into the system within 72 business hours of being received. We are currently experiencing a brief backlog which is affecting this estimate and may cause a delay of a week or so. Once the submission is received into the system, you will receive an automated confirmation email and the invoice will be visible in the "Submission Tracking" feature in your account. Please contact our customer service department below if you have any further submission questions and thank you for your patience. service@csgcards.com Timkipp2 and FCT4NYI

I called and emailed customer service on 3/18. They said they are working on inputting the 3/8 submissions. It's now 3/29, ten days later. I look in the system and still no update. I just called customer service and they said that the processors are still working on 3/8!!! Ten days and no movement. Customer service gave me the general answer of we are expanding our service and hiring more people. Shouldn't this have been put I to place prior to accepting submissions? CSG knows the market is crazy right now. Why wouldn't they have the infrastructure ready to go? It makes no sense to me. Billthethrill
I feel a little better knowing that it's not just my order. Delivered on 3/15, on 3/18 cust service said working on 3/8 orders and no updates as of today 3/29. They must've gotten flooded, but it would be nice to know that the box is in their hands. xtremebull
Why would my Economy order that was delivered on 3/15 show as received 3/24 before my Standard order that was delivered on 3/10, (still not showing as received)?

Mike Mm
Very interested in this thread, my first sub was delivered on March 24th, curious as to how long the "backlog" is..........I hope they were prepared for the influx of submissions and not end up like PSA!
Administrator NicholePer Posted March 30 Administrator Report Share Posted March 30 I understand everyone's concerns. When a shipment is delivered, all shipments are stored in our secure facility that is equipped with 24-hour surveillance prior to grading. Submissions are received and updated into the system when the shipment is opened. If you do have any further questions, feel free to contact our customer service by calling 888-274-4723 (toll free) or 941-361-1950, or email service@csgcards.com. GRDK
My submission was received by CSG March 9 according to USPS. I have called multiple times and have no answer as to whether CSG has my package and when they will post it. This of course raises the further question of when the clock starts for turnaround time. Nick Mares
That is a very good question. How can they quote turn around times on their website correctly and not get items received in time. I submitted my first package and man reading the comments here I don’t know if I will submit another.
Mike Mm
I've subbed with BGS and PSA and neither of them start the clock on "turnaround" until the cards are logged into their systems. I mean it is taking PSA up to 3 months to just receive and log the cards as received.
Popular Post tmoore_25
Come on people. This can't be your first time submitting cards for grading. If it's not, then you know how it works. If it is your first, then you are late to the party and should go ahead and quit now. Turn around timeclock starts once they have entered your cards into the system as Received, not when the package lands at their doorstep. If you all have issues with CSG and the smaller than it's made out to be backlog they have, I implore you to call them and have them send your packages back. I hear PSA is open and accepting submissions right now. Maybe you could try BGS also. I have not used them but hear they are pretty quick. Those of you complaining and moaning about them having your package for nine days, should tell you already that they are getting backed up in the Receiving department. Yet they still are meeting turnaround times once it is Received......For Now. Think about this. How many packages do they receive a day? Let's call it 200 to be fair. That's only 4 people from each state. How many cards does each person submit? Let's say 20 as a round number. That's 4000 cards a day, every day. How many people do you think are working in the office that does the Receiving? Probably not many. The bulk is probably in Research and Grading. I can open every package there and it doesn't matter if they can't get through grading. I also suspect that the Receiving and Research & ID division are one in the same. I have only seen my cards go from Received to Scheduled for Grading. Nothing in between. That too could be the reason for your delay. If so, than by my lowball calculation above, each Receiver would have to verify and research 100's of cards per day. We all know they are hiring. It's posted. You don't come in on day one and start grading cards. You have to vet them, hire them, and train them. It takes time. Bear with them and once they hire more, we will have a good company that we can get our cards graded through or just wait until the balloon pops and people turn away from cards again. CardShark
I sent order in on 3/10, it was delivered on 3/11, and still not recorded in. I called twice, and the nice customer service reps assured me it may take up to 2 weeks to get entered in, and I still dont see it.

My cards were delivered on 3/11 and still not logged into their system. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because it's only 12 business days, but it's a little scary when you have your cards in limbo.
