Same here and on top of that, I personally think their slabs are just plain gimmicky. I don't see them lasting too long unfortunately.

Why dont you just opt for the plain label them? No one forces you to use the team or card colors?!  Do you have an issue with the grading itself there? CSG has butt-ugly labels too, but it isnt a reason to not use the service.  Are you saying PSA has great looking labels? Turnaround, cost and ROI should be more of a determining factor I'd think, no?  Right now, not much difference between CSG and HGA on ROI, and HGA seems to be the belle of the ball between the two right now on eBay. Right now, faster turnaround (for same price) and same or better ROI then CSG is looking better at the moment. At least HGA are receiving cards in a timely basis, and not raising prices at the same time they are extending turnaround times.

Here's a recent comp, 2019-20 Panini Certified Red Mirror - SOLD PRICES PSA 10 vs HGA 10

$415 vs $2000

Yo CSG did you not learn anything from the PSA disaster?

My 1st order has been sitting at CSG for over 5 WEEKS waiting to be checked in. That is WORSE than PSA has ever been!!  I've tried to be very patient and hold my tongue, I'm used to waiting now.. I have over 10 orders at PSA going back to JUNE 2020! LOL

I'm cool with waiting, I just want a little TRANSPARENCY upfront or UPDATES on wtf is going on. HGA is the ONLY company that is doing a somewhat decent job of managing orders in a timely manner and providing updates weekly. That's what pisses me off the most, its like you see what a failure PSA has been lately and instead of doing things DIFFERENTLY you do THE EXACT SAME THING! "Hey we are about to raise rates, get those orders in! Oh yea we are really backed up too, so it will be a long time before we get to them! THANKS!" Fricking insufficiently_thoughtful_persons

Just call yourself PSA 2.0 and be done with it.

K rant over. Try to innovate and do things different (like HGA), stop following in the footsteps of P.lease S.ubmit A.gain.

yes. kinda freaking me out.

I’ve never graded cards with any grading company before, and with all the good things I was hearing about CSG I wanted to give them a chance. I sent my first economy submission to CSG on 04/01 before they changed their lead times. My submission showed on usps tracking that they received it on 04/05. I sent an email on 04/07 checking to see if they received my 4 card submission, and got a response saying “Processing of orders generally runs 2-25 business days from delivery depending on submission volume. We are currently processing deliveries that arrived the week of 3/15/21”. I sent another email on 04/28 because my second 50 card order never showed as being delivered on usps tracking, and my first order never showed up when I entered my tracking on CSG’s tracking screen. I got a response back today saying, “We are currently processing deliveries from the week of 3/15. Thank you for your patience.” Both my orders now show as being received and secured at their facility on CSG’s tracking screen, which is a relief, but neither have been checked in. So it’s been a few weeks since my first email, and they still are processing orders from 3/15. Not what I was expecting for my first grading experience.

No way is it worse than PSA.. i have express orders still not checked in at PSA.  Then they check in my bulk but skip over checking in an express order.. why? Don't want to start clock..  but I do get your point.

Yea I had 5 orders delivered to PSA during first week of March and they all finally got entered 4/19-4/26.

CSG just came out the gate and got slammed. Not their fault completely since they couldn't predict PSA shutting down and having an avalanche of cards sent their way.

I just think its ironic & frustrating that all the "big experienced companies" are failing miserably at communicating with their customers and keeping things flowing efficiently but some random dude in Tennessee with no grading experience starts a grading company and is seemingly more organized, better prepared, and a thousand times better about communicating with his customer base.

At the very least CSG could start by putting out a weekly update on what week shipments they are processing. I mean they are already getting dozens of inquiries per day which is taking up valuable employee time. Why not just publicly announce on social media or the front page of the website for example: "We are currently working on checking in packages from March 22-26" so everybody can stop wondering and asking?

Confused on the point, as the PSA was sold at $415.55.  The HGA is being offered to sell but is not a sold price.  I  can list anything at whatever price does not mean that it will sell or that it is worth even close to that amount.

You didn't read it thoroughly....those were in fact green sold prices.  See how before the $2000 it says "Sold For"....one was auction, other BIN

Well I'll be darn, I just went to the service & fees page and noticed the announcment below

Didn't know they were doing that now, awesome!

Now opening submissions delivered the week of March 15, 2021.

This is beyond pathetic. They have been on 3/15 for what, 6 weeks now?  See below, a post from earlier in this thread from April 15!!! Has anyone who has gotten a card(s) entered in their system, how long after is it scheduled for grading or is it another month to get scheduled and the clock actually starts?

From Nick Mares

Yea I had Called today and they said they were working on March 15-19th

HGA is done as soon as PSA gets their together, and they are a billion dollar company they will get their issues resolved. Because CSG is such a respected grading company they should do OK. Their subs will drop once PSA is back and hopefully then they will offer some Economy specials. The only thing that will be lined in the HGA FB groups will be people selling the pliers that have the snips so everyone can crack out the cards.

From my understanding through a few emails their working dates are based off of bulk submissions.

My standard tier submission which was delivered on March 22 was entered into the CSG system on April 23.
