JDC21
Just trying to figure out what they mean and the difference between the two. Thanks CSG staff
Administrator CrystalM CS Posted January 13 Administrator Report Share Posted January 13 Hello! @JDC21 Thank you for reaching out to CSG. At this time we do not have any grade CA but we do have IT. IT (Ineligible Type). This means the card was either unlicensed, unofficial, or was obscure enough that we were unable to authenticate properly. For cards that CSG has already graded that are inauthentic (either unlicensed, such as all Ichiro Suzuki HWB cards, or outright counterfeits, such as all Don Mattingly B/W 1984 Nestle cards), how are they treated for the purposes of the authenticity guarantee? Administrator NickiO CS Posted January 22 Administrator Report Share Posted January 22 Hello @northkorea, Thank you for your question. The CSG Guarantee details the process for reporting a card that is believed to be inauthentic and the remedies available should this situation arise. You can read this information here: Certification Guarantee | Sports Card Grading | CSG (csgcards.com). If you have questions, let us know. Have a good day! northkorea
That process would apply to a card that I own. I don’t have possession of the fantasy cards. The person who got CSG to authenticate them does.
Administrator CrystalM CS Posted January 25 Administrator Report Share Posted January 25 Hello! Those types of situations are handled on a case-by-case basis after an investigation of the claim. Is there a particular card that you are looking into? Do you have the certification number by chance?
