Inconsistencies in grading equivalencies

So, I had two green label 9 with the same subs sent in for labeling errors, and one came back a black 9.5 & the other a black 9. I was told the reason for the black 9 was the two 9 sub grades and possibly grade weighting, but these two cards had the same subs!

maybe cause under magnification the overall appeal of the card was better then the other one, subs are just a guide they arent the end all be all there's other catogories they take in consideration and ofcouse overall appeal of the card

I would, personally, say the Jutanugarn is a nicer card. If eye appeal were the reason, I could see the reversed outcome.

Beside that, according to their own literature, the subgrades ARE the last word. If you send a card in for grade reconsideration, they must pay off any drop in grade, including subgrades.
