  1. Hello @kcm54, Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry for any confusion. The email is incorrect. Your Elite membership discount is 20% off grading and pressing fees. Let us know if we can help with anything else!
  2. Hello @Ivan30 Thank you for reaching out. Currently, if you submit your signed "Spawn 350 Thank You", it will receive a green qualified label and qualified grade. Currently, CGC does not certify signatures that are not witnessed by a CGC-authorized witness. However, Certified Collectibles Group recently acquired JSA (James Spence Authentication) and we expect to start accepting autographed comics and magazines for combined JSA authentication and CGC certification later this month. An announcement will be made when these services are available. You can read more here: CGC Comics | Certified Collectibles Group to Acquire James Spence Authentication. We will announce specifics about the combined services options and pricing soon! If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  3. Hello @Big_Lou75, Thank you for reaching out. The specific details for the upcoming combined services have not been announced yet. Announcements are coming very soon and we are excited to share more as soon as these services are available! Please stay tuned to CGC announcements via e-newsletters, social media, and at CGC Comics | News and Announcements. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  4. Hello @IrishPrince, Thank you for reaching out. I can confirm that submission 1401024714 is being processed as a reholder submission. Scheduled for grading is a system status that indicates that the verification process has been completed and the submission is scheduled for the next stage in processing which is handled by the grading team. Since the bulk of submissions received are grading submissions, "scheduled for grading" was chosen as the "label" for this status. In the case of reholder submissions, the cards will not be regraded. However, reholder submissions are still reviewed by the grading team before moving on to encapsulation. Reholder is estimated to take 30 business days or approximately six weeks. Please keep in mind that the 30 business day turnaround time is an estimate and actual processing time can be longer. We are currently experiencing a high volume of reholder submissions, due to customer response to the $5.00 per card reholder fee. While we are working to process reholder submissions as quickly as possible, high volume may affect the overall turnaround time for the reholder queue. I have reviewed your submission, your grading credit has been applied so the submission will not experience any billing delay, and the order is being processed normally. We should see some movement soon. Thank you for your patience. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  5. Hello @Mijael.Levy, Thank you for reaching out to us. If the cards are smaller than our maximum holder size, we will generally grade them, assuming they are otherwise eligible for grading. To protect smaller cards, the encapsulation team may place the cards in a protective sleeve when they are encapsulated. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  6. Hello @PaulMango Thank you for reaching out to us. You can view information about error types that CGC Cards designates here: CGC Cards Error Guide. While this article was originally posted in 2022, we do periodically update the information listed as needed and all the errors should be addressed in the article. Some specifics of how CGC Cards graders identify these errors may be considered part of our proprietary grading processes. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  7. Hello @SSwain Thank you for reaching out to us and I am very sorry for the labeling error. I have sent you an email with instructions to return your card for a complimentary label correction. Please be sure to select prepaid inbound shipping, and you will receive a prepaid shipping label at no charge. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
  8. Hello @Kevin McShane, Thank you for reaching out to us. CGC Cards has not implemented more lenient grading standards over this period. However, we did announce changes to the grading scene in June 2023, specifically removing Gem Mint 9.5 and adding Mint+ 9.5 and Gem Mint 10. With this change, Gem Mint 9.5 grades were updated to Gem Mint 10. This is the only change implemented, however, if you specifically look at the Gem Mint counts this change would not have impacted these numbers in the population. I am sorry that based on the population data alone, I cannot determine the reason for the shift in frequency for this specific card grade and type. Each card received for grading is graded based on the condition it is received. When your cards are graded, multiple CGC Cards professionals examine every card aided by advanced technology, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and consistency. Each grader enters their grade into CGC Cards’ proprietary system. A consensus is then reached on the final grade of the card and this team effort ensures that the final grade is consistent with our grading scale and processes. TCG and non-sports experts evaluate those types of cards, while sports card experts evaluate sports. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.
  9. Hello @James Allen Rogers, Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your feedback. I understand that receiving grades lower than expected can be disappointing. While I cannot speak to the grading scale or grading processes of other grading companies, I can share a little about CGC Cards' grading processes. 10. Hello @UndergroundCards Thank you for reaching out to us. I have shared your card with our graders so they can take a look and determine if a labeling error has been made. I will follow up with you via email as soon as possible. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  11. Hello @Pantera77 Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry that the QA code is not directing you to the correct card. Unfortunately, we cannot change the where this code points to without providing a new label for the card. I will email you some instructions to return the card for a label correction. if you have any other questions, please let us know.
  12. Hello @Azelf_Nox Thank you for reaching out to us. If the card has a minor crack and the holder is still sealed, you can submit it for Crossover service. If you submit it as "cross at any grade" it will be removed from its slab, graded, and placed in a CGC holder. If you choose "cross at the same grade or higher" your card will be returned if the graders determine that it will grade lower than the current PSA grade. If the holder is unsealed, please remove the card from the holder and submit it as a raw card. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
  13. Hello @NAlmaria Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing this information. This submission has not yet reached the grading desk. Once the graders have reviewed the cards, the descriptions will be updated. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
