The overall grade is not an average of the 4 subgrades. There is an algorithm used to calculate the overall grade Some subs weigh more than others. In your cards case, an overall 8.5 is the correct grade.

That is not a reprint. It was not reprinted by Topps. We would not grade that.

We will grade officially printed and marked reprint cards that are cataloged. We will not grade "homemade" reprint cards or cards not marked with reprint on the card. If you have a specific card in question, you can always post a pic of the card. Thanks!

Severe surface issues include: creasing, writing/marks, staining, holes or tears. On modern cards with a chrome finish, issues like scratches, scuffs, indentions and dimpling can all reduce the surface grade.
